Obituary of Otto F. Blazsek
Otto F. Blazsek, 77 of Oak Ridge, passed away after a sudden illness on June 8, 2014.
Born in Uividek, Hungary, then residing in Salzburg, Austria, Otto arrived to United States along with his family in 1951. A graduate of Fordham University and St. John's Law School, Otto enjoyed a prolific career as an attorney in Passaic and Clifton for nearly 50 years. He was an active and beloved member of the local Hungarian community. A lover of books, history, and geography, Otto relished in engaging all those he encountered and delving into their origins and language. Otto was a loving, kind and dynamic person whose sincerity and warmth was felt by all who knew him. He will be greatly missed and will always be in their hearts.
Predeceased by his parents Irene and Josef Blazsek, grandparents Anna and Karl Gausz, and his sister Herta Beik.
Otto is survived by Patricia, his devoted fiancé of 20 years; his sons, Thomas and Eric Blazsek, and daughter-in-law, Adriana Blazsek; extended family: Jackie and Greg, Sarah, Barb and Doug, Val and Pete; five grandchildren; his loving nephew and nieces, Gerald, Karin and Dorothy Beik, and his cherished cousin, Trudy White. He is also survived by 2 great nephews and a great-niece.
Visiting on Tuesday from 2-4 and 7-9 pm at the funeral home.
The funeral will be on Wednesday at 9:00 am from the funeral home and 10:30 am Mass at Immaculate Heart of Mary RC Church, 580 Ratzer Rd, Wayne and will be celebrated by Fr. Dan Kelly.
Burial will be at Madonna Cemetery, 2070 Hoefleys Lane, Fort Lee, NJ.
