Patricia Faith Nagy, age 77, passed away March 23, 2019. She was born on November 16, 1941 in Passaic, NJ, the daughter of the late Edward and late Wanda (Kulik) Gugala. Formerly of Wallington Mrs. Nagy lived in Wayne for 51 years. Patricia Nagy can best be remembered for her dedication to others. Whether she was stirring a pot on the stove, hemming your pants, or whipping out the best art supplies for a class project, Patricia brought a kind energy to the space she occupied. A natural teacher, it is fitting that she substitute taught Special Education in Wayne for several years. Patricia cared deeply for her family, and you could feel it down to the carefully selected stickers on her homemade cards and special ingredients she'd stock up on for when you came over. Or maybe it was the Christmas stockings filled to the brim with trinkets collected year-round or when she'd finally sit down to eat by the time everyone was on dessert. No small detail went unnoticed with Patty, her love was always felt. Big hugs to Pat - a mother, teacher, wife, grandmother, aunt, and so much more - we hope Heaven is as kind to you as you so gratefully deserve. Mrs. Nagy is survived by her loving children Sue and her husband Tim Padva; Amy and her husband Tim Barbera; and Steven Nagy; her beyond cherished grand-children Sarah, Katie and Matthew Padva; Emily, Andrew, Lilly and Grant Barbera; her brother-in-law Vincent Intindola.
She was predeceased by her beloved husband, Thomas James and her dear sister Elizabeth Jane Intindola.
