Obituary of Gloria Lee Gillson

Gloria Lee (Ross) Gillson, age 73, passed away on Monday, January 28, 2019 at home in Pompton Lakes. Mrs. Gillson was born in Kingston, PA the daughter of the late Robert and the late Charlotte (Murray) Ross. Gloria had lived in various parts of Pennsylvania, New Jersey and Florida. Early in life she worked as a cosmetologist, worked with nuclear submarines on a naval base in Philadelphia, PA and she later earned her real estate license and worked for Century 21 real estate company. Her passion was her family, and her faith in God was the center of her life. She was very active in her local church and gave to many various religious charities. She loved keeping up with all the latest fashion trends, hair, makeup, and she never turned down a shopping opportunity. Her grandkids and great-grandkids were the light of her life and one of her favorite activities was spoiling them every chance she got. She will be remembered for her beautiful smile, her generous spirit and her unwavering love for Jesus Christ. Nothing brought her more joy then telling others about the love of Jesus. Her life was a reflection of His love. She will be missed by her loving husband Arthur Gillson, children Dawn Hill and her husband David, Brian Sinkler and his wife Nicole, and Heather Corbo and her husband Raymond, brother Robert Ross; grandchildren Aaron Hill and his wife Karland, Olivia and Victoria (Tori) Hill, Bennet and Lily Sinkler, Ella, Caleb and Zoe Corbo; and great-grandchildren Katie Moore and Audrey Hill. She was predeceased by her parents, Robert and Charlotte, and her brother Donald. Friends are welcome to the viewing hours on Friday, February 1st from 6-8 pm at the funeral home and the celebration of life service on Saturday, February 2nd at 1:00 pm at The Summit Church, 720 Summit Ave Hackensack, NJ 07601.
