Obituary of Liberata Coppola

Liberata (Perrotta) Coppola, age 84, passed away on Saturday, January 19, 2019. Mrs. Coppola was born in Castellammare DiStabia, Italy, the daughter of the late Alfonso and the late Immaculate (Angeloni) Perrotta. She lived in Jersey City for most of her life before recently moving to Wayne. Liberata was a homemaker and a parishioner St. Mary's R.C. Church in Pompton Lakes. She is survived by her beloved children : Connie and her husband Angelo Caliente, Tina Chrissakis, Anna Coppola, Lucia Jengo, Theresa Coppola, Gerardo Coppola and Alphonso Coppola; and many cherished grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She was predeceased by her husband Luciano, and her son William. Friends are welcome to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday, January 23, 2019 from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home and the funeral Mass on Thursday at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's R.C. Church, 17 Pompton Ave, Pompton Lakes which will be celebrated by Fr. Gonzalo Torres-Acosta. Interment will follow at Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.
