Obituary of Janet Ann Albanese

Janet Albanese age 50 of Wayne, passed away on Monday, December 17, 2018. Janet was born and raised in Pequannock before moving to Wayne four years ago. She was a 1986 graduate of Pequannock Township High School. She also received her cosmetology license at Capri Institute. Although a cosmetologist by trade, Janet was a bookkeeper for years. Janet had a smile that could lighten up a room, and she made friends with every person she met. She was always willing to help anyone that needed it. There was nobody like Janet. Janet loved her 80s hair metal. Her favorites were Dio and Queensryche, and she would always turn up the radio when she heard them. She loved going to concerts; in fact, she would meet her future husband Lou at a Rush concert thirty-one years ago. Her favorite place to visit was Las Vegas. She and Lou always had a blast there. Janet also loved the Jersey shore and spent a lot of time with her family there. She also was the best mother to her children She is survived by her loving husband of 23 years Lou, and her adoring children Louis and Alaina. Her mother Carole Blickenderfer , sister Nancy Nucci and her husband Anthony. Her nephews Louie and Jimmy, and one niece Elizabeth. Janet lost her loving father Eric Blickenderfer in 2016. All of her family and friends loved and adored her. Family will receive their friends on Saturday, January 26, 2019 from 12-3 p.m. the funeral home. with a service at 2 p.m. In lieu of flowers donations to her children's education fund would be greatly appreciated.
