Joyce Ann Lukacsko, age 57, received her angel's wings on January 1, 2019. Ms. Lukacsko was born September 2, 1961 in Paterson, the daughter of the late James and the late Lotte (Schell) Lukacsko. She lived in Hardyston and was the director of systems employed by St. Joseph's Regional Medical Center in Paterson for 28 years.
Ms. Lukacsko was a graduate of John F. Kennedy High School and she received a Bachelor of Science degree, cum laude, from Montclair State University in January 1999. In recognition of her high scholastic achievement at The College of St. Elizabeth, she was selected for membership in the Sigma Beta Delta International Honor Society in Business Management and Administration in April 2009. She also earned a Master of Science degree in Health Care Management in May 2010 from The College of St. Elizabeth. In February 2012 she received an Honorable Mention in the "IT Heroes Award", Making a Difference Using Information Technology project of the New Jersey Association of Mental Health and Addiction Agencies (NJAMHAA).
Joyce loved gardening and cooking and enjoyed vacationing in South West Florida and tipping a Cosmo.
Ms. Lukacsko is survived by her beloved brother Peter and his partner Patrick, her loving sisters Mary Lou and her husband John Mills, and Debra Lukacsko; also her devoted nephews Jeffrey, Alexander, Michael and Erik; and her fur babies, Dora and Dilly.
The family will receive friends on Saturday, January 5, 2019 from 1-2 p.m. at the funeral home. There will be a memorial service at 2:00 p.m. celebrated by Fr. Martin Roon.
