I just found out this weekend from a mutual friend of Dave's passing back in December. My heart is broken for his family and friends. Dave was a suite-mate / roommate all four years at JMU. He was a kind, loving, walking sports encyclopedia that would give you the shirt off his back if you needed it - even if it was a priceless Utah Jazz jersey! My thoughts and prayers will be with the family.

I just found out about Dave this morning through a mutual friend who just happened to go onto his Facebook page. I'm really shocked and very sorry to hear. Dave and I hadn't been in contact for many years but as my roommate/suitemate for the four years of college we spent countless hours together. We were also lucky enough to be able to do things in our 20s. This news is very difficult to hear as Dave was always fun and loved to joke around and laugh. Between Strat-O-Matic basketball, the name game and so many other great times, I have a ton of memories of Dave. My heart goes out to Art and the rest of his family.

So sad to hear this news. I never saw Dave without a smile on his face. I remember being in the office with him talking about Chinese food and how he loved it! My prayers to the family and Heaven has gained another angel. RIP

I was so heartbroken to hear of Dave's passing. I had the pleasure of working with Dave at Rosetta for several years. He always had the brightest smile and kindest demeanor. He truly radiated positivity! He took time out of his busy day to help me learn some of the ins and outs of SEO and even volunteered his skills to help me with a personal project/volunteer work. I always looked forward to seeing Dave and collaborating with him. I hope his friends and family know how loved he was (and still is) by those of us who had to privilege of knowing him, even if only for a short period of time.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of your brother Dave, Art. You were very close and I remember how much you adored and admired him. It's never easy when we lose a loved one, especially one so young. All my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family during this difficult time. Art, I would love to come and give my respects at his service, however, my health keeps me from being able to do so. But please know I will be praying for you, Dave, and your whole family Saturday, that you may find the strength to get through the day. I was so sad to hear of Dave's passing. My best memory of Dave is of watching Dumb and Dumber together when he and his family visited us in SC. Dave and Art sang along with the movie, and we had a blast laughing together. He will be missed!
