Obituary of Dorothy Eileen Doviak

Dorothy Eileen (Kuehn) Doviak, age 89, passed away on Monday, December 3, 2018. Mrs. Doviak was born in Passaic, the daughter of the late George and the late Caroline (Eisele) Kuehn. She recently lived in Mahwah and was formerly of Garfield and Wayne. She retired from her family business where she was an officer. Mrs. Doviak was a very active member of St. Paul's R.C. Church and school when her children attended the school. Married in 1951, Mrs. Doviak is survived by her beloved husband of 68 years, William C. Doviak. She was the loving mother of two sons, William and his wife Kathleen, and Thomas and his wife Karen; devoted grandmother of five loving grandchildren, Liam, Terrance, Caroline, Emily and Anthony and a cherished great-grandson, Clark; caring aunt of Linda and Denise; and a dear mother-in-law of Marie. She was predeceased by her son, James in March 2017. Friends are welcome to attend the visiting hours on Sunday, December 9, 2018 from 2-6 p.m. at the funeral home. The funeral will be on Monday at 8:30 a.m. from the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 9:30 a.m. at St. Paul's R.C. Church, 286 Haledon Ave, Prospect Park which will be celebrated by Msgr. Edward J. Kurtyka. Interment will be in St. Nicholas Cemetery in Lodi.
