Obituary of Tatiana Turchin

Tatiana ( Novikov) Turchin, age 86, passed away on Tuesday, November 13, 2018. She was born in Moscow, Russia, on September 8, 1932. Tatiana studied Geology at the Moscow Mining Institute. She married Valentin Turchin in 1956, and emigrated with him and her two sons, Peter and Dimitri, to the United States in 1978. For a long time, she lived in Oakland, NJ, moving to Wayne in 2010 following the death of her husband. Friends are welcome to take leave of Tatiana on Saturday, November 17, at the Russian Orthodox Convent of Novo-Diveevo, 100 Smith Road, Nanuet, NY, beginning at 12 noon. The funeral service will be held at 1 pm, followed by her interment at the Novo-Diveevo cemetery.
