Obituary of Onorina Dragone

Onorina (Di Genua) Dragone, age 84, passed away on Tuesday, November 6, 2018. Mrs. Dragone was born in Montella, Italy, the daughter of the late Pasquale and the late Felomena (Palatucci) Di Genua. She lived in Wayne and was formerly of Paterson. Mrs. Dragone was a seamstress for many years in the garment industry in Paterson and later was a homemaker. She had a great love of her family and was very devoted to her Catholic faith. Mrs. Dragone was a former parishioner of St. Michael's RC Church in Paterson, and most recently of Our Lady of Consolation RC Church.

She is survived by her beloved son Frank and his wife Gail, her daughter-in-law, Lisa; her devoted grandsons Anthony and his wife Angelica, and Brad and his wife Emily; her cherished great-grandson, Dante; her dear brother and two sisters, all living in Italy; and several nieces and nephews.

Mrs. Dragone was predeceased by her husband Antonio in 2015 and her son David in 2006.

Friends are welcome to attend the visiting hours on Friday, November 9, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.

The funeral will be on Saturday at 8:00 a.m. at the funeral home followed by a Mass of Christian burial at 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church, 1799 Hamburg Tpke, Wayne.

Entombment will be at Holy Sepulchre Mausoleum, Totowa.
