Obituary of Lillian Ruth Van Houten

Lillian Ruth (Nicoles) Van Houten born November 7,1922 passed away peacefully in her sleep on October 12, 2018 with her daughter by her side. She lived a very happy, fulfilled and long life. Everyone that had the pleasure to meet her walked away happier for it, she always had a joke to tell and was always smiling and laughing. She was well loved and will be greatly missed by all her friends and family. Mrs. Lillian Van Houten leaves behind her loving daughter Darlene Bauer of NJ. Lillian has three devoted grandchildren: Scott and his wife Margaret Bauer of FL, Keith and his wife Kim Bauer of NJ, and Tara Bauer-Williamson and her husband Jerry of NJ. She also leaves six cherished great-grandchildren: Samantha, Cierra, Cortnie Bauer of FL, and Trevor, Kristen & Tyler Bauer of NJ. She is preceded in death by her beloved husband of 68 years, John Van Houten. There will be a graveside service on Tuesday, November 20, 2018 at noon at Valleau Cemetery in Ridgewood, NJ.
