Obituary of Francisco Escobar
Francisco Escobar, 86, entered into the presence of his Lord and Savior on August 22, 2018.
Born and raised in Bogota, Colombia, Francisco immigrated to the US in 1971 to seek a better opportunity and a brighter future for his wife and four children. A devoted husband to Margot Otálora, and a loving father to his children Angela Lucero, Juan Carlos, Ingrett Ugueth, and Sandra, Francisco led his family with his incredible faith and dedication to God.
Francisco settled his family in Hackensack, NJ before moving to Fair Lawn, where he lived for many years working as a machinist. Upon retiring, he and Margot moved to Jacksonville, Florida. Francisco's tremendous spirit lives on in his wife, children, 13 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren, as well as his sisters Yeannette and Gloria, and brother Roberto. Memories of his infectious smile and sense of humor are a balm to the hearts of his loved ones, as is the peace of knowing that he will dwell in the house of the Lord forever.
