I was so sorry to hear about your dad's passing. The Collins and Schorn memories go so far back. All good and happy ones. A little history for your family: my mother and your grandma Anna were childhood friends in Clifton. And I'm sure you know that Mr. Schorn and your Grandpa Joe were bus drivers for the same company. Mr. Schorn used to take your grandpa to "The Widows" bar in Totowa every week. I still have a brandy snifter your grandma Anna got when the Plaza movie theater on Union Avenue gave out free glass ware. I think of her whenever I use it. Well, enough blabbering as 'my Marty' would say. My love to all the Collins from me, Mrs. Tracey aka Mrs. Schorn.

All of the Sinofsky’s send our thoughts & prayers to all of the Collin’s! The two families with 13 kids between us, had a special bond! Many football games, wrestling matches, and a few parties too! We grew up together, & Mr. & Mrs. Collins were ALWAYS so hospitable to all the kids’ and their friends. A truly loving & welcoming home! We’ll miss you Mr. Collins! We were Barry's neighbor for over 50 years. Many of our children went to school together and played together. We often were in church with "Barry" and went to the same masses on the weekend. He and his wife "Marsha" were great parents and wonderful neighbors. Barry will be sadly missed and our only consolation is he has a reservation in our Lord's domain where his wife will be waiting for him.

Dear Family, My heart is so saddened by the loss of your father and grandfather. Teri, Trudi, and I were always called Cuz by Barry. I can hear him right now saying “Hey Cuz!” Even though I only got to see him every few years, I will miss him terribly. A little sidenote: his and your mom’s wedding was the first one I attended. I think I was about 12 years old but it made me feel really grown-up to be able to attend a wedding reception. Now that I think about it, who is going to send us all those hilarious and interesting emails? Barry was my main source of material to pass along to friends! Love to all of you, Linda “aka Cuz”
