Obituary of Kathleen A. Devine

Kathleen A. Devine, age 66, passed away on Wednesday, August 8, 2018. Ms. Devine was born in Paterson, the daughter of Joseph and the late Elizabeth Ann (Shackleton) Devine. She lived in Ringwood for most of her life. Kathleen was an insurance adjustor employed Scalla & Co. in Hackensack, and later Crawford Insurance Adjustors in Clifton. Ms. Devine was a member of Christ The King Lutheran Church in Ringwood. She enjoyed helping her dad with his painting students and staying in touch with her Amish friends and their children. Kathleen is survived by her beloved father Joseph Devine; her loving brother Edward and his wife Laurie Devine; and her dear nephews and nieces, Eddie Devine, Jr, Jeanne Rissin, Thomas Mullarkey, and Matthew Mullarkey. She was predeceased by her mother, Betty (Shackleton) Devine. Friends are welcome to attend the memorial service for Kathleen on Friday, August 31, 2018 at 10:00 a.m. at Christ The King Lutheran Church, 50 Erskine Road, Ringwood which will be celebrated by Pastor Rick Serina, Jr., followed by a committal at Laurel Grove Memorial Park in Totowa.
