Obituary of Andrea Dona Onorato

Andrea (nee Turatti) Onorato of Montville, New Jersey (formerly of Wayne) was called home to our Lord on Wednesday, August 15th, 2018. Andrea was the loving wife of Jim (Jamie). They met in college, at WPU and have been happily married for over 38 years. In addition to Jim, Andrea is survived by her loving sister, Barbara Turatti Jeckert and her husband Jim; her brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Chris and Audrey Onorato; her niece, Christianne Eppenett and her husband Tom, and their children, Chris and Natalie; her niece Laura Interiano and her husband Bryan, and their children Nina and Dalia. She also had a host of close friends and admiring business associates. Andrea worked her entire 40-year career for Valley National Bank, beginning as a part-time teller and rising through the corporate ranks, to become Executive Vice President and Chief Administrative Officer. Her daily passion and enthusiastic approach, to every aspect of her career was matched by her genuine respect and care for all with whom she came in professional contact. Andrea loved the beach and often shared their shore home with family and friends. Cooking recently became one of her favorite activities. Andrea was an extraordinary interior designer, as evidenced in their homes and in her workplace. Andrea was a Corporate Advisory member of Homeless Solutions in Morristown, NJ and an avid supporter of the 11th hour (pet rescue) shelter, in Randolph, NJ. Family and friends will be received Sunday, August 19, from 2-4 p.m. and 6-8 p.m., at the funeral home. Funeral will be held Monday, August 20th, 8:30 a.m., at the funeral home with a funeral Mass to follow at 9:30 a.m., at Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary RC Church, 45 Urban Club Road, Wayne.
