Obituary of Angela I. Sereno

Angela I. (Guarini) Sereno, age 96 passed away on Friday, July 13, 2018. Mrs. Sereno was born in New York City the daughter of the late Florian and the late Marta (Drienzo) Guarini. She was formerly of Paterson moving to Wayne in 1956. Mrs. Sereno was very proud of her employment as a fitness instructor at the House of Cleopatra in Clifton. She was a parishioner of Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary R.C. Church. Mrs. Sereno is survived by her beloved children Elaine and her husband Ralph Vuoncino, and Michael and his late wife Nancy Sereno; her devoted grandchildren Michael R. and his wife Courtney Vuoncino, and Lisa and her husband Nicholas Nagy and Alana N. Sereno; her cherished great-granddaughters, Elliana Vuoncino; Sadie Nagy; and many loving nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband Michael E. Sereno in 1985 and her siblings Joseph Guarini, Dolores Guarini, Antoinette Colacrucci, Rachael Terraneo, Catherine Altieri, and Victoria Sisti. Friends are welcome to attend the visiting hours on Sunday, July 15, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. There will be a Mass of Christian Burial on Monday at 10:00 a.m. at Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary R.C. Church, 45 Urban Club Rd., Wayne which will be celebrated by Msgr. Doody, followed by the interment in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa. Memorial donations in Mrs. Sereno's name may be made to the St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105, www.stjude.org
