Obituary of Florence Kennedy

Florence (Zogas) Kennedy, age 94, passed away on Thursday, June 21, 2018. Mrs. Kennedy was born in Jersey City, the daughter of the late William and the late Mary (Regalute) Zogas. She lived in Wayne and was originally from Harrison. Mrs. Kennedy was an Executive Secretary for many years at ITT Avionics in Nutley.

Mrs. Kennedy is survived by her beloved son Brian and his wife Bernadette (Schiavo) Kennedy. Also her devoted grandchildren Dawn and her husband Munish, Tom and his wife Amanda, and Cara Kennedy; and one cherished great-grandson.

She was predeceased by her husband Thomas in 1970, and her sister Mary Benecki.

Visiting hours will be Sunday, June 24, 2018 from 3-6 p.m. at the funeral home.

Friends are welcome to attend the funeral on Monday at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home and the Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church, 1799 Hamburg Tpke, Wayne which will be celebrated by Fr. Michael D. Lombardo.

Interment will follow in Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
