Obituary of Lucille E. Mariconda

Lucille E. (D'Ascoli) Mariconda, age 86, died Thursday, June 14, 2018. Mrs. Mariconda was born in Paterson the daughter of the late Salvatore and the late Lena (Nazzaro) D'Ascoli. She lived in Riverdale and was formerly of Wayne. Before retiring, she was a customer service representative employed by Partners in Research in Wayne. Mrs. Mariconda was a member of St. Mary's R.C. Church in Pompton Lakes. She was very social and active with several senior's groups. Mrs. Mariconda lived for her children and grandchildren and loved to cook for them. Lucille was very close to her two sisters. Her love for her family was endless. Mrs. Mariconda is survived by her beloved children Louise and her husband Jeffrey Mogitz, Linda Mariconda, Tony and his wife Linda Mariconda and Salvatore and his wife Arlene Mariconda; six devoted grandchildren; six cherished great-grandchildren; and her dear loving sisters Vera Rossini and Lena Tolomeo. She was predeceased by her husband, Antonio. Friends are welcome to attend the visiting hours on Monday, June 18, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home and the funeral service on Tuesday at 11:00 a.m. celebrated by Fr. Gonzalo. Interment will follow in Holy Sepulchre Cemetery, Totowa.
