Obituary of Orville Van Duyne

Orville Van Duyne, Jr., age 92, passed away on Wednesday, June 6, 2018. Mr. Van Duyne was born in Paterson, the son of the late Orville, Sr. and the late Annie (Hunt) Van Duyne. He lived in Wayne and he served in the US Navy during World War II. He was retired from Grand Union Co. in Wayne in 1991 where he was a draftsman. Mr. Van Duyne was a member of both the Bernard Armitage American Legion Post #360 in Paterson and the Model Engineers Railroad Club in North Haledon for 30 years. Mr. Van Duyne is survived by several nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his brothers Walter and Charles. Friends are welcome to attend the visiting hours on Sunday, June 10, 2018 from 2-6 p.m. at the funeral home. Services are private by request of the family.
