Obituary of Walter E. Clark, Sr.
Walter E. Clark, Sr., age 67, passed away on Sunday, June 3, 2018 at home. Mr. Clark was born in Paterson, the son of Georgina (Lillman) and the late Thomas Clark. He lived in Lincoln Park, was formerly of Paterson and served in the US Army during the Vietnam war. Mr. Clark was a National Network Technician for NJ Bell, AT&T and Lucent before retiring from Avaya. After retiring, he was a consultant for CIT in Livingston. He was a member of American Legion Post 267, formerly in Haledon and a past Commander of the Passaic County American Legion. He and his wife were world travelers, especially enjoying cruise "ships". Walter couldn't wait to spend time with his loving grandchildren.
Mr. Clark is survived by his beloved wife Theresa (Anthony); his devoted children Walter, Jr and his wife Keather, Traci and her husband Richard Meyers, Jr, and Jennifer and her husband Brian Gaffney; nine cherished grandchildren, Aaron, Kennavysia and Kacer Clark, Ashley and Alyssa Gambatese, Alicia Meyers, and Victor, Briana and Dylan Gaffney; his dear brother Thomas and his wife Patricia, and his sister Sarah and her husband George Wiggins. He is also survived by his dear mother Georgina (Lillman) Rotenberg and predeceased by his father, Thomas Clark.
Relatives and friends are welcome to attend the visiting hours on Wednesday June 6, 2018 from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home.
A private cremation will follow.
