Obituary of Anthony Paul Stamler, Jr.
Anthony Paul Stamler, Jr., age 70, of Pompton Lakes, passed away on Wednesday, May 16, 2018. Mr. Stamler was born in Passaic, the son of the late Anthony Paul and the late Viola (Bloom) Stamler. He lived most of his life in Clifton before moving to Pompton Lakes. He was employed by Accurate Box Company in Paterson as a maintenance supervisor and was a member of Local # 528-C, National Organization of Industrial Trade Unions -IUJAT. Mr. Stamler was a parishioner of St. Mary's RC Church. He enjoyed spending time fishing with his grandchildren and will be remembered for his great love of his family.
Mr. Stamler is survived by his beloved wife of 47 years, Mary Catherine (Glazer); his loving daughter, Jennifer and her husband Joe Ruffino; his cherished grandchildren, Jackson, Reece, Graden and Weston; and two dear sisters Penelope Arata and Patricia Gelok-Hoffman.
Friends are invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday, May 20, 2018 from 3-7 p.m. at the funeral home.
No services to be held on Monday.
The funeral Mass will be Tuesday, May 22 at 11:00 a.m. at St. Mary's R.C. Church, 17 Pompton Ave, Pompton Lakes.
There will be a private cremation.
