Obituary of Alfred T. Acquaviva

Alfred T. Acquaviva, age 84, passed away on Thursday, April 19, 2018. Mr. Acquaviva was born in Paterson, the son of the late Andrew and the late Mary (Minnichini) Acquaviva. He lived in Wayne. Mr. Acquaviva was a graduate of the Georgia Institute of Technology and a retired Industrial Manager for the City of New York. He was also a proud US Army veteran. Known by all for his big smile and wonderful sense of humor, he was a devoted family man. He and his wife Jo had 57 wonderful years together, enjoying their family, the company of close friends and traveling extensively. His grandchildren were his pride and joy and he was a regular at their sporting events, cheering them on from the sidelines. His greatest loss was the death of his wonderful son, Paul, in the September 11, 2011 terrorist attacks.

Mr. Acquaviva is survived by his beloved wife Josephine (Parisi); his loving daughter Kara Hadfield and her husband Jamie; his grandchildren, Jack, Caroline and George Hadfield; Sara and Paul Acquaviva.

Relatives and friends are invited to attend the memorial gathering to celebrate his life on Saturday, April 28, 2018 from 11am to 1pm at the funeral home.
