Obituary of Sophia H. Petritsis

Sophia H. (Harami) Petritsis, age 80, died Wednesday, April 30, 2014 at home in Wayne surrounded by her loving family. Sophia was born April 24, 1934 in Brooklyn, NY the daughter of the late Charalambos and the late Sonia (Strongilos) Harami. She lived in Wayne and was formerly of Franklin Lakes. Sophia was the owner and gracious hostess of The Paris Inn, in Wayne. Previously, she was an Executive of the Yarn division of DuPont in NY, NY. Mrs. Petritsis was a member of St. George Greek Orthodox Church, Clifton and the Zonta Club. She was a kind and wonderful person and was loved by everyone she met. Sophia was the beloved wife of 54 years of Paris A. Petritsis; Loving mother Antonio P. and his wife Stephanie and Paris P. and his wife Marti, devoted grandmother of Paris S. and Jade A. and dear sister of Vanthea Castris and Georgia Pertsas. Visiting hours will be Monday from 2-4 & 7-9 PM. The funeral service will be Tuesday at 10:30 am at St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 818 Valley Road, Clifton.
