I worked with Jai at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital for many years. Jai was a shining light, optimistic, and interested in learning and taking care of her patients. I am saddened by her death but applaud her courage to know when enough was enough. She will live on in my memory and heart.

My sincere condolences to all of you. Jai was a great friend , coworker, excepcional nurse and very loved by all of us who had her as a friend. My heart aches so badly but on the other hand no more pain. She definitely was a fighter. I will always remember her and love her deeply.

I am so sorry I cannot attend the viewing for Jai as I am out of state currently. She called me Red. She loved my Turkish bulgur. Every chance she had she would give me these beautiful dresses Michelle outgrew for my girl. Despite being ill herself, she would ask about myself or my daughters health. I fondly remember her as a compassionate, kind Nurse. Our trip to NYC with just the girls. Many people will miss Jai, including me. She was strong, yet soft. I am happy and feel blessed to have known her. May she be at peace and may God give her family the strength to survive this terribly sad loss. Rest in peace Jai Bird.
