Obituary of Assunta Siniscalchi

Assunta (Salemme) Siniscalchi, age 85, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, February 27, 2018 in West Milford. Mrs. Siniscalchi was born August 15, 1932 in Cirella, Italy the daughter of the late Giuseppe and the late Rosalbina Salemme. She was a homemaker with a love of cooking and good food. Mrs. Siniscalchi enjoyed talking with all of her family and friends and was a great conversationalist. Assunta is survived by her beloved daughters Maria and her husband John Macaluso, and Rosalba Estupinan; five cherished grandchildren and four adored great-grandchildren; and her loving brother Frank Salemme. She was predeceased by her husband, Ettore in 2009. Friends are welcome to attend the visiting hours on Sunday, March 4, 2018 from 2-6 p.m. with a service at 5:30 pm at the funeral home, celebrated by Fr. Michael D. Lombardo. Entombment will be in Italy.
