Obituary of Lois Altenkirch

Lois (Van Wyckhouse) Altenkirch, age 68, passed away on Monday, February 12, 2018. Mrs. Altenkirch was born September 3, 1949 in Paterson, the daughter of the late Edward and the late Florence (Farren) Van Wyckhouse. She lived in Paterson and was previously of Wayne. Mrs. Altenkirch earned a BA from the University of Wisconsin and was a self-employed artist. She attended the Jacksonville Chapel.

Lois is survived by her beloved sons, Aaron and his wife Michele, and Jesse; her cherished granddaughter: Alexandra and two sisters: Shirley Hartman and Nancy Egan.

Friends are welcome to attend the visiting hours on Sunday, February 18, 2018 from 2-4 p.m.

The funeral service will be Monday, February 19th at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home which will be celebrated by Pastor Michael Bethune.

Interment will follow in Fair Lawn Memorial Park, Fair Lawn.
