Obituary of Philip Joseph Gemore

Philip Joseph Gemore, age 85, passed away on Saturday, November 11, 2017 at Care One at Wayne. Mr. Gemore was born September 2, 1932 in Jersey City, NJ the son of the late Philip J. and the late Carmela (Manino) Gemore. He lived in Wayne over fifty years. Mr. Gemore served in the US Navy during World War II. He was the owner and operator of two hair salons: Gemore Boutique Coiffeurs in Wayne and Pequannock and the more recently owned the Pompton Plains Beauty Supply before retiring. Mr. Gemore was a parishioner of Our Lady of The Valley R.C. Church, Wayne. He is survived by his wife: Sarah (Vaccaro) Gemore, two sons: Guy and his wife Wendy and Philip and his wife Marleny and his grandchildren: Melissa, Guy William and Joseph. Visiting hours will be Tuesday, November 14, 2017 from 3-7 PM. The funeral service will be held at 6:30 pm celebrated by Fr. Peter Wells. Private Cremation will follow.
