Memories of Aunt Julie.. you will be missed greatly. Memories of you in our lives will be there forever. Remembering your open warm heart, your smile, your laughter and the Monroe left hand side upper kitchen cabinet with all the candy... put so many smiles on all the faces you touches in your life time. "Aunt" Julie embodied generous and kind spirit. Many memories of "Aunt" Julie boxes which were packed with items she would pick up at local sales with the hope that they would bring smiles to our family. Many years ago, one box contained a pair of snow boots among all the everything. They fit me perfectly and couldn't have come at a better time. Every time I put them on I think of "Aunt" Julie and her kindness. She was full of life and ideas. You have left us and for that we mourn. Heaven has received you as rejoices!!

As I extend my deepest sympathy to the family of Julie Cress, I think of all the good memories we shared when I was her daughter-in-law. She gave of herself to everyone. Her words were kind to one and all, except when Rusty got crumbs on the floor while eating. Then she’d say, “.Rusty, you need a good kick in the ass!” The earth lost an angel, but Gram, you are in heaven, where you brothers and sisters and son John have been waiting for you. I hope the ride to them was swift and smooth. I’ll see you when I get there so I can knit you a new hat.
