Obituary of Angelina Ferro

Angelina (DePiano) Ferro, age 86, passed away on Thursday, April 10, 2014 at home in Wayne surrounded by her loving family. Mrs. Ferro was born January 13, 1928 in Paterson, the daughter of the late Dominick and the late Rosina (Gioia) DePiano. She was a homemaker and a great cook. Mrs. Ferro's family was her life - she was their hero and friend. Angelina was the beloved mother of Lucia and her husband John Saitis, Toni and her husband Jeff Gallagher, Rachel Ferro and the late Roseann Safar; devoted grandmother of Tanya, Kellie, Justin and Angel; great-grandmother of Aidan, Anastasia, Avery, Owen, Roman, Otis, Isabella and Quinn; and dear sister of Addie Pacilio and sister-in-law, Lucy Mazza. She was predeceased by her brothers, Lenny, Nicky, and Jiggs DePiano; her sister, Marie Spano and her sister-in-law, Margie Volpe. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 2-6 PM. The funeral Mass will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church, 1799 Hamburg Tpke.,Wayne and will be celebrated by Fr. Michael D. Lombardo.
