Obituary of Bernice F. Sernau

Bernice F. (Wolff) Sernau, age 87, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2017 at home. Mrs. Sernau was born May 28, 1930 in Brooklyn, NY the daughter of the late Dave and the late Mary (Popkin) Wolff. She lived in Wayne for over 50 years and was formerly of the Bronx. Mrs. Sernau was employed by the Independent News in Pompton Lakes and was known for writing "Bunny's Dining Guide".

Mrs. Sernau is survived by her beloved children Debra and her husband David Hunziker, and Richard and his wife Maryann Sernau; her cherished grandchildren, Tracy and Kristen Sernau, and Christopher and Tommy Hunziker; and her sister Hannah Laxman. She was predeceased by her husband, Robert F. in 2009.  She is missed and loved by all.
