Obituary of Angelina T. Pugliese

Angelina T. (Cocco) Pugliese, age 93, passed away on Thursday, October 26, 2017. Mrs. Pugliese was born May 15, 1924 in Newark, the daughter of Alesandro and Maria (Sinico) Cocco. She resided in Wayne since 1998. Mrs. Pugliese was a retired lab technician employed by Hoffmann La Roche in Clifton for 15 years. Prior, she was a seamstress from the time she graduated from Essex County Vocational School in Newark in 1941. Mrs. Pugliese also used to make clothing for her family. She was a parishioner of Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary RC Church, and a member of the Prime Time Seniors and the Wayne Golden Agers.

Mrs. Pugliese is survived by her beloved daughter Arleen and her husband Bob Fairclough; her adored grandchildren Stephanie Fairclough and Robert Fairclough; her cherished great-grandson, Nikolai and her loving siblings Elizabeth Pretto and Victor Cocco. She was predeceased by her first husband, Richard Peloso; her second husband, Thomas Pugliese and brother, Angelo Cocco.

Visiting hours will be Sunday, October 29, 2017 from 2-6 p.m.

Friends are welcome to attend the funeral Mass on Monday, October 30, 2017 at 9:30 a.m. at Annunciation of the Blessed Virgin Mary R.C. Church, 45 Urban Club Rd, Wayne which will be celebrated by Msgr. Peter J. Doody.

Interment will be in Holy Cross Cemetery in North Arlington.
