Obituary of Harry "Curt" Gamlen

Harry "Curt" Gamlen, age 103, went to be with the Lord on September 13, 2017. Mr. Gamlen lived in Wayne with his wife Inger (Franck) until 3 years ago when he relocated to Palm Beach Gardens, FL to live with his son Olaf, daughter-in-law Jennifer, and his beloved grandchildren, Christopher and Erik Gamlen. After selling his truck washing business, he worked for Fleetwash in Fairfield until age 99. In addition to hard work, he loved animals and being outdoors. Mr. Gamlen is also survived by his sons Scott and Duncan Gamlen, his sisters Josie Ross and Elaine Foster, his brother James, and several nieces and nephews. His unique style and sense of humor left an impression on all who knew him and he will be dearly missed. Friends are welcome to attend the memorial service on Saturday, October 14, 2017 at 2:30 pm at the funeral home. The family will receive friends from 12-2:30 pm before the service which will be celebrated by Rev. Michael McKay.
