Obituary of Nancy C. Moore

Nancy C. (Christie) Moore, age 94, passed away on Thursday, August 31, 2017. Mrs. Moore was born May 16, 1923 in Chester, MA the daughter of the late John and Iva (Kingsberry) Christie. She lived in Pompton Lakes and was formerly of Clifton and Sarasota, FL. Mrs. Moore was a telephone supervisor employed by NJ Bell for 25 years. She was a member of the Telephone Pioneers of America and she volunteered for Meals on Wheels while living in Sarasota. Mrs. Moore is survived by three daughters, Debra Christopher, Carol Dolan and Nancy Figurilli; three sons, Richard Geng, Garry Brady and Bruce Moore; eleven grandchildren, Robert Christopher, Alex Gennarelli, Dawn and Danielle Brady, Neely and Kevin Dolan, Charlie Geng, Jonathan Petrasek, Stacy, Jennifer McAteer and Kimberly Manns and nine great-grandchildren, Hanna, Kayla and Nathan Christopher, Kaeli Brady, Amelia, Adam and Eddie, and DJ and Kelsey. She was predeceased by her husband, Harold Reid Moore (d.2000) and husband, Bernard Frances Brady (d.1976). Visiting hours will be Friday, September 1, 2017 from 6-8 p.m. Friends are invited to attend the funeral on Saturday, September 2 at 10:00 a.m. which will be celebrated by Rev. Michael McKay. Interment will be in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
