Sam & I have been friends for over 72 years. We go back to our young football days in the 40s. We played against each other and with each other. He was one of the toughest men I ever knew and one of my good friends. We (my wife "Angel") and I got to know "Helen" (his wife) from the many affairs we were with them in the "Elks". I know they are now together with our "Lord" because they were both good people. They will forever be in our prayers.

My deepest sympathy to the Cossari family at this most grievous of times. Sal was a fine man, fine officer and superior. The good that he did for the membership while serving as president is beyond description. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and worked with him. He will remain in our prayers. Sammy was one of the Best he took me under his wing and scared the u no what out of me, He was my first sgt. and always let me know how he felt the way I did my job good or Bad he was a Cops cop and I know he will be missed by all who knew him he had a great smile and he just had to give you a look and you knew how he felt.
