Obituary of Nancy W. Emaus

Nancy W. (Wood) Emaus, 81, of Newfoundland, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her family on Friday, April 4, 2014. Mrs. Emaus was born in Los Angeles on May 11, 1932, the daughter of the late Frederick S. and the late Margaret (Gibson) Wood. Nancy came to New Jersey from California in 1956 when she met her husband. She was a bank manager with Crestmont Savings & Loan in Netcong before retiring. Mrs. Emaus is the beloved wife of 58 years of Joseph; the loving mother of Traci and her husband Hercules and Mark Emaus and his partner Victor Rivera; her dear sister of Holly Wood of Los Angles and Mary Wood and her partner Alice Forsythe of Santa Barbara; devoted grandmother of Brandon and Jenni; and caring aunt of Linda Beckering. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 2-5 p.m. The funeral will be Monday at 11:00 a.m. at the funeral home and will be celebrated by Rev. Michael McKay. Interment will follow in Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa.
