Obituary of Hope Bosland

Hope (Furler) Bosland, age 98, passed away on Sunday, July 9, 2017 in Boynton Beach, Florida. Mrs. Bosland was born July 14, 1918 in Paterson, the daughter of the late Edward and the late Mary (Cummings) Furler and was raised by her beloved late Aunt Lily and late Uncle Charles Turner. She was a Totowa resident most of her early life were she and her late husband Henry owned Bosland's Ice Cream Bar. Later they moved to South Kortright, NY, where they owned the Hidden Inn restaurant. She retired to Florida in 1974. Mrs. Bosland is survived by her beloved daughter JoAnn and her husband Eugene Guertin and sons John C. Sr. and his wife Barbara Bosland and David H. Bosland; five loving grandchildren; seven cherished great-grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by Henry her husband of 65 years in 2007 and by her sisters, Dorothy and Ella. A graveside service will be on Friday, August 18, 2017 at 11am at Laurel Grove Memorial Park.
