Obituary of Mildred Howie

Mildred (Yott) Howie, age 90, passed away Monday, June 12, 2017 at Bristol Glen, Newton. Mrs. Howie was born May 3, 1927 in East Rutherford, the daughter of the late William David and the late Trina (Stark) Yott. Formerly of Wayne, she lived in Franklin and was a homemaker. Mrs. Howie was a member of Calvary Gospel Church. She loved her church family and was a Sunday School Teacher for many years. Mrs. Howie is survived by her beloved children, Miles, III and his wife Bonnie and Charlotte and her husband Mike; 4 devoted grandchildren; 6 cherished great-grandchildren and her dear sister Barbara VanBeveren. She was predeceased by her husband, Miles, Jr. Visiting hours will be Friday, June 16, 2017 from 4-8 p.m. Relatives and friends are welcome to attend the funeral on Saturday, June 17, 2017 at 10:00 am at the funeral home which will be celebrated by Pastor Louis Curcio.
