Obituary of Mary Irene Price

Mary Irene Price (née Mahoney), aged 75, died peacefully on June 9, 2017. She was a fighter who outlasted the cancer that finally took her well beyond any prognosis. Mary was born and raised in Jersey City, NJ, the daughter of Leo Mahoney and Patricia Latvis Mahoney. Mary had a long career in the insurance industry at several NYC firms. Mary is survived by her sisters and lifelong best friends, Geraldine Kesling of Asbury Park, NJ and Marilyn Martorelli ("Dee Dee") of Monsey, NY; her daughter Jennifer Price and husband Peter Davis of Vernon, NJ; two sons, Michael Price of Westborough, MA and Christopher Price and his wife, Elizabeth of Montvale, NJ; seven grandchildren, Ian and his wife Kerry, Adam, Genevieve, Kaeleen, Nicholas, Griffin and Savannah and her great-granddaughter, Lucy. In accordance with Mary's wishes, arrangements will be kept private. The family wishes to thank all of those who cared for her during her illness and asks that in lieu of flowers, you please honor Mary by raising a glass and toasting her as you spend time with those you cherish most.
