Obituary of Lois Hamilton

Lois (Morgenroth) Hamilton, age 78, passed away on Saturday, June 3, 2017 at St. Joseph's Wayne Hospital, Wayne. Mrs. Hamilton was born July 12, 1938 in Paterson, NJ the daughter of the late Leonard and the late Bernadette (Mc Cloud) Morgenroth. She lived in Wayne and was formerly of Fair Lawn, graduating from Fair Lawn HS. She also lived in Paterson and Clifton. Lois was employed as a dental receptionist by Doctors Reeman and Frost in Wayne and previously by Dr. Larry Tamaroglio in Paterson. She also was a bookkeeper for Axelrod Foods, Paterson before retiring. Besides enjoying her grandchildren, Lois Loved going to Atlantic City, the Broadway Theater and going to concerts. She was the Beloved mother of Kathleen Hamilton of Belleville, Colleen and Joshua Tauber of Budd Lake, Maureen Hamilton of Denville and Kevin Hamilton and his companion Angel Fay of Spring Lake. Devoted grandmother of Erik Hamilton and his companion Kelly Lindsey, Spencer Hamilton, Arielle and her husband Adam Mader, Tyler Kalinka, Jordan and Aidan Tauber and great-grandson, Cole Hamilton. She was predeceased by her parents and her brother David Morgenroth. Visiting hours will be Monday, June 5, 2017 from 4-8 PM. The funeral Mass will be Tuesday at 9:00 am at Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church, 1799 Hamburg Tpke., Wayne and will be celebrated by Fr. Michael D. Lombardo. Interment will be in Laurel Grove Cemetery, Totowa.
