Obituary of Andrew Thomas Jacobsen

Andrew Thomas Jacobsen, age 72, passed away on Thursday, June 1, 2017 at Llanfair House in Wayne. Mr. Jacobsen was born February 14, 1945 in Teaneck, the son of the late William and the late Josephine (Connelly) Jacobsen. He lived in Wanaque and was formerly of Park Ridge and Paterson. Mr. Jacobsen retired ten years ago from Bograd's Furniture Store in Paterson and Riverdale. Previously he was a teacher known as "Mr. J." at St. Mary's Elementary School in Paterson. Mr. Jacobsen was a member of Christ Episcopal Church in Pompton Lakes where he was a Healing Minister, a Choir member and a Eucharistic Minister. Mr. Jacobsen is survived by his beloved wife: Susan (Dorman); his loving daughter: Robin Jacobsen; several nieces and nephews and his best friend: his beloved dog, Chance. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visiting hours on Sunday, June 4, 2017 from 2-5 p.m. at the funeral home. All other services are private at the request of the family.
