Obituary of Robert Varcadipane

Robert Varcadipane, age 77, passed away on Monday, May 22, 2017 at Overlook Hospital in Summit. Mr. Varcadipane was born July 25, 1939 in Elmwood Park, the son of the late Joseph and the late Grace (Vander Brook) Varcadipane. He lived in Wantage and was formerly of Wyckoff. In 2001, Mr. Varcadipane retired from the Wayne Township Road Department where he was a foreman. He was an avid hunter.

Mr. Varcadipane is survived by his wife of 59 years, Rose Marie (Onderik); his son Robert and his fiancé Dana Sahlberg, his daughters Grace and her husband Gary Johnson and Susan Varcadipane; his grandchildren Joseph, Jessica and Robert; three brothers: William and his wife Carolann, Richard and his wife Ruth and Peter and his wife Alice, and a sister: Diana and her husband Raymond Jacunski.

Visiting hours will be Thursday from 2-4 & 6-8 p.m.

The funeral will be Friday, May 26, 2017 at 10:00 a.m. at the funeral home and will be celebrated by Rev. Michael McKay.

Interment will be in Laurel Grove Memorial Park, Totowa.
