Obituary of Elizabeth M Siecieska

Elizabeth M. (Steen) Siecieska, age 72, passed away on Friday, April 7, 2017 at Chilton Medical Center, Pequannock Twsp. Mrs. Siecieska was born March 5, 1945 in Glasgow, Scotland, the daughter of the late James and the late Sarah (Neilson) Steen. She lived in Glasgow until she was 17 years old. Most recently Betty lived in Wayne and was formerly of North Arlington and Kearny. She retired in 2010 from the Valley National Bank, Wayne where she was an Assistant Vice President and payment processing manager for 27 years. Betty loved nature, children and animals and was a second Mom to many. She is survived by her devoted husband of 44 years: Joseph J., Jr., loving son: Joseph J., III and his wife Jessica, Dear sister: Irene Mills and brothers: James and Robert Steen and proud grandmother of Joseph Cameron. She was predeceased by her sister, Sadie Nicol and her parents. Visiting hours will be Tuesday from 2-4 & 6-8 PM. The funeral service will be Wednesday at 11:00 am will be celebrated by Rev. Michael McKay. Private cremation will follow. Memorials donations may be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105
