Obituary of Charles Joseph Triolo
Charles J. Triolo, age 86, an honorable United States Army Veteran and loving father, husband, and grandfather, passed away on the evening of February 28th, 2017 at the VA Hospital in Lyons, NJ. Mr. Triolo was born June 18, 1930 in Passaic, the son of the late Anthony and the late Josephine (Maida) Triolo. An undoubtedly proud American, he served during the Korean War, and received the Purple Heart Award. He was a longtime resident of Clifton, and spent his later years residing in Bonita Springs, Florida, and Barnegat, New Jersey. Charles began his professional career at Bergen Iron and Engineering as a Junior Architectural Draftsman. He was steadily promoted until he left his position as a Field Coordination Supervisor. Charles continued his career as President of Teaneck Detailing, and ultimately served as President and Co-Founder of C&B Detailing until his retirement.
A talented and energetic individual, he spent his retirement with the company of his loving family, and pursued his passion for painting, fishing, and cooking. His love for the culinary arts led him back into the workforce as a restaurant chef at Teco Arena in Estero, Florida.
Mr. Triolo is survived by his devoted wife of 63 years, Beverly (Timek) Triolo; his beloved daughter Donna (Triolo) and her husband, Robert Bracco; his cherished grandchildren Anthony C. and Gianna K. Bracco; his dear sister Margaret (Triolo) Carlino and many nieces and nephews. He was predeceased by his daughter Lynne M. Triolo.
Visiting hours will be Friday, March 3, 2017 from 5-8 p.m.
The funeral will be Saturday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home and will be celebrated by Fr. Louis J. Scurti.
Interment will follow in St. Mary's Cemetery in Saddle Brook.
