Obituary of Matthew J. Blekicki

Matthew J. Blekicki, age 61, passed away on Wednesday, November 23, 2016 at Care One at Wayne. Mr. Blekicki was born December 7, 1954 in Plock, Poland, the son of the late Leon and the late Margaret (Hetkowski) Blekicki. Before moving to Wayne in 1993 he lived in Wantage. He was a 1973 graduate of Hudson Catholic High School and received a BA in economics/business management from Rutgers University in 1977. Mr. Blekicki was employed by Sixth Boro Graphic & Digital in Jersey City, as a sales manager and Digital Consumables Specialist and he volunteered for local charities. Mr. Blekicki is survived by his beloved wife Cheryl (Greenland), two loving daughters: Lauren and her fiancé Matt Ryan and Alaina, his caring sister Bogda Clarke, and his niece, Alicia and nephew, Adam and his wife Andrea. Visiting hours will be Sunday from 2-5 p.m. Friends are welcome to attend the funeral service on Sunday, November 27, 2016 at 4:30 pm at the funeral home celebrated by Fr. Dan Kelly. Cremation will be private. Memorial donations in Mr. Blekicki's name may be made to the American Cancer Society, 20 Mercer St., Hackensack, NJ 07601-5608.
