Obituary of Stephen Rinaldo

Stephen Rinaldo, age 56 of Wayne, has entered into the arms of the Lord to join all the loved ones that have passed before him on November 18, 2016. Honest, sincere, hardworking, dedicated, protective, caring and loving to his family and friends, he was always there for you when you needed him and would often do anything for you or any member of our family and friends. Stubborn and opinionated are only two words to try to describe him and only two of the many, many reasons why we all loved him and his "my way or the highway" attitude. Stephen enjoyed life, especially spending time at home with his mother, cooking delicious meals or tending to his garden and chickens. He truly cherished the opportunity to care for one another. He loved to spend time up at the lodge with his family, hunting, fishing or just relaxing on the porch. Loving and devoted Son, Brother, Uncle and friend, Stephen leaves behind his loving mother, Dorothy (Clarke)Rinaldo, sisters Christine Melione and her husband Tony, Mariane Rinaldo, Lisa DeFilippis and her husband Garry, Denise Van Tol and her husband Nick, brother-in-law John Colligan, brothers James Rinaldo and Robert Rinaldo and his wife Jennifer, along with adoring nieces and nephews Anthony, Ann Marie, Garry Jr., Gina, Nicole, Vincent, Megan, Shannon, Nicholas, Joseph, Liliana and great-niece Julianna - "father to all" as we liked to think. Stephen was welcomed into heaven by his father, Vincent R. Rinaldo, sister Theresa Colligan, aunt Victoria Rinaldo, grandparents, great-niece Adrianna and all the other friends and family that has passed before him. Stephen will be missed immensely and no words can convey the sorrow in our hearts. Until we meet again - "Buongiorno!" Visiting hours will be Tuesday November 22, 2016 from 2-4 & 7-9 p.m. Friends are welcome to attend the funeral on Wednesday at 9:30 a.m. at the funeral home and Mass at 10:30 a.m. at Our Lady of the Valley R.C. Church, 630 Valley Rd, Wayne. Interment will follow in Christ the King Cemetery, Franklin Lakes.
