Obituary of Carmella DeVincenzo

Carmella ''Connie'' (Cerbone) DeVincenzo, age 96, passed away Monday, October 31, 2016 at Chilton Medical Center, Pequannock Twsp. Mrs. DeVincenzo was born December 18, 1919 in Hackensack, one of nine children of the late William and the late Frances (Giacommaro) Cerbone. She was raised in Lodi, and lived in Wayne. Mrs. DeVincenzo retired from Hoffmann La Roche in Clifton, where she worked as a line manager. She was a member of Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church. She is survived by her beloved daughter Marylou and her husband Duane Szczechowicz; her loving granddaughter, Beth and her husband Patrick Pacifico, and cherished great-grandchildren, Treavor and Liliana; her devoted sister Eleanor Winters; and many nieces and nephews. She was predeceased by her husband, Nicholas. Visiting hours will be Wednesday from 4-8 p.m. at the funeral home. Friends are welcome to attend the funeral on Thursday at 9:00 a.m. at the funeral home and Mass at 10:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church, 1799 Hamburg Tpke, Wayne which will be celebrated by Fr. Michael D. Lombardo. Entombment will follow in St. Nicholas Cemetery, Lodi.
