Obituary of David Simpson Dean

David Simpson Dean, age 83, died Thursday, February 20, 2014 at Valley Hospital, Ridgewood. Mr. Dean was born June 11, 1930 in Paterson, NJ, the son of the late Russell and the late Cecelia (Ball) Dean. He lived in Mahwah and was formerly of Paterson. Mr. Dean served in the US Marine Corps during the Korean War. He was the owner/operator of Heteren Chemical, Paterson, retiring in 1998. Mr. Dean was a graduate of Stetson University, FL. He was a member of the Society of Cosmetic Chemists, the Sales Association of the Chemical Industry and the Bergen County 200 Club. He is survived by his two daughters: Jennifer and her husband Chris Cordero, Pamela and her husband Charles Nuzzo, two sons: Jonathan Dean and his wife Maria and David Dean. Beloved companion of Georgia Bellias, Devoted grandfather of Jason Seitz, Jessica Dean, Lindsay Dean, Christy Lee Dean, Amanda Cordero, Emylee Nuzzo, Christopher Cordero, Alanna Dean and Nicole Dean. Former husband of Anita Dean. Mr.Dean was predeceased by his sister, Dorothy. Visiting hours will be Monday from 1:30-3:30PM. The funeral service will be Monday at 3:30 pm will be celebrated by Fr.
