I apologize for writing this so late, even though I was there three days before she passed away, but I lost the paper with the information on it, since we had just moved. I am so sorry to hear this from Tommy. My heart is broken. I have known Mrs. Eccles since 1966, through Laura. I have conversed with Mrs. Eccles through many, many years by regular mail and phone calls. I have a lot of wonderful memories of her from way back then. I would be at their house on Orion Dr. in Brick when she'd come home from work, dressed professionally and she would be so formal--until she changed into her "housewife clothes" as she would call them and come into the kitchen to start dinner. Then she would be her regular Mrs. Eccles--lighthearted, funny, and the tension of work would be gone. She would laugh at something silly that us girls did; she would laugh at herself for something she did that was silly as well. She was always SO very polite to me: ALWAYS. I never forgot that. She would treat me with respect as I did to her. I never called her anything else but "Mrs. Eccles," right up until the last time I saw her. I knew once she moved out of her Eve Place home that would be it; her life would change once again and even though I continued to write to her or call, I would no longer receive any responses. She is already missed. She was one of the sweetest people I knew, as well as a true lady. The world needs more people like her.

Aunt Irma was a kind-hearted loving woman. I remember many wonderful seaside vacations we enjoyed with her when I was young. I thank her for the joy and genuine interest that she brought to our conversations. I will miss her and pray that one day we will meet again. Rest in Peace dear Aunt Irma.

Tommy, So sorry to here about your Mom's passing. She was a great lady and a lot of fun. Your mother and my mother were great friends and now they sadly have both passed away. I remember how everyone talked about how great your Mom danced at my wedding. She danced every dance and everyone kept coming over to ask me who was that lady dancing. Both great people our Moms. Aunt Irma was always a loving, caring person who wanted only the best for her family. She was very smart and knew more than anyone I've ever known about investing money. I remember many happy times at her house and will miss her lovely smile. RIP Aunt Irma.
