I worked for Rob for 4 years when I was in high school and college. He was so kind to me and really brought me out of my shell. I was so shy when I started working for him and 4 years later I was definitely a changed and more confident person and it was mostly due to him and his brother. I just saw his obituary today and I know that this is late but I wanted the family to know what a huge influence he had on my life. It was a privilege to know him.

Dear family of Robert McMinn (Barbara,Bruce and Joseph), We were sorry to hear of your father's passing. He was a fine gentleman,good father and a war hero. We are so glad we had a chance to visit him at the house in Wayne after Aunt Mary's funeral. Among other things , he shared his stories about the war, it was a good visit. I will never forget the family get togethers at the house and swimming in the pool. Dot and Rob always showed us a good time. Also, the trips to the Barn for ice cream. Mc Minn family...very sorry to hear of your loss....I worked at 'THE BARN' while in high school, l953-l957 and could not have had a better boss, teacher, and friend than Bob and his brother, Jerry. Bob taught me many lessons on working with others, and taught me good work ethics. My prayers go out to the entire Mc Minn family.

Barbara, Bruce and Joe, Where there is sadness love plants a garden of memories. Wishing you moments of peace and tender reflections. I remember so fondly all the enjoyable times and laughs Lew and I shared with Rob and Dottie and the families up in New Jersey. Rob was so gracious and full of fun. So many great conversations we had with them. Lew and Rob shared many war stories. The greatest generation. Moments I will always treasure. Families are so precious. Dear Barbara,Joe, Bruce, My deepest condolences to all of you and your children on the passing of your Dad. He was a great Uncle, a kind brother to my Mom, a great godfather to me. I will miss his emails and sending him news About travel. He so enjoyed the fudge that my Mom used to make for him at Christmas. Now, they can all be together with Grandma and Grandpa enjoying their time around the big dining room table-listening to the radio. He leaves you with wonderful memories and traditions.
