Obituary of Olga R. Manolio

Olga R. (Matera) Manolio, age 90, died Wednesday, April 27, 2016 at home in Cary, NC. She was born November 8, 1925 in New York, NY the daughter of the late Dr. Joseph and the late Florence (Zanelli) Matera. Before moving to Cary, North Carolina, Mrs. Manolio resided in Fort Lee, Hoboken and Wayne, New Jersey. She was a member of Our Lady of Consolation R.C. Church while living in Wayne. Mrs. Manolio is survived by her beloved children Florinda Cara, Olga and her husband Paul O'Brien, and Edward and his wife Odalis Manolio; and her loving grandchildren, Rebecca Cara, Jeremy O'Brien and Kristy O'Brien. She was predeceased by her husband, Dominick in 2013; her sister, Florence Matera; and her brothers, Edward and Joseph Matera. Friends are welcome to attend the funeral Mass on Monday at 10:00 am at Calvary Cemetery Chapel, 49-02 Laurel Hill Blvd, Woodside, Queens, NY which will be celebrated by Fr. Frank Mann. Interment will follow in Calvary Cemetery.
